The DUTCH RED CROSS - FOOD AID
Unfortunately, there is a sense of shame surrounding accepting food aid in the Netherlands.
People often think hunger doesn’t happen near them, or in The Netherlands at all. But when in reality almost 30.000 children have to go to school without breakfast. A problem the Red Cross tries to reduce wherever possible. One of the ways they help are breakfast packages. Packages full of nutritional groceries that parents can pick up during school time. To show the urgency of the problem and take away some of the shame that surrounds accepting food aid, we made a campaign adjustment that solely focusses on this topic. The video focusses on showcasing the problem, the help the Red Cross gives and the emotion and gratefulness that comes with it.
